These routes are perfect for exploring the details of Greater Lisbon’s skyline. Discover below some examples of boat transfers we’ve provided.
In the air, on land, and on water
They were staying at the Myriad Hotel in the Parque das Nações area. They wanted a morning full of activities, adrenaline, discoveries, and excitement.
We suggested that boarding the speedboats be done at the Parque das Nações Marina. And that, to get there, they first enjoy a cable car ride lasting 8 minutes on a route of about 1,200 meters.
And so it was. At about thirty meters high, they appreciated the stunning panorama of Parque das Nações. They could see up close the Lisbon Oceanarium, Doca dos Olivais, the Portugal Pavilion, the Atlantic Pavilion, the Lisbon International Fair Pavilion, and in the distance, the Oriente station and the Vasco da Gama bridge.

Then, the 42 participants walked for about 10 minutes along the riverside terraces, covering the last meters toward the boarding location. Moored at the Parque das Nações marina, four speedboats were waiting for the group!
Already comfortably settled, and after the initial welcome briefing, the adventure continued and the adrenaline increased. Leaving the Marina slowly, it was possible to discover this modern area of Lisbon seen from the river. Undoubtedly a complement to the perspective they had from the cable car. Everything made more sense and the scenery was truly impressive. Right after, two more exciting moments: passing under the enormous Vasco da Gama Bridge and approaching Parque Tejo, the location where Pope Francis was in 2023 during World Youth Day.

After these discoveries, the engines accelerated toward Alfama, Praça do Comércio, and Cais do Sodré. A few more moments of stopping for the usual photographs and we headed to the southern bank of the Tagus River, approaching Cristo Rei. And so the adventure continued. Sometimes at high speed with splashes and lots of excitement mixed in, sometimes at low speed to see the details and hear the skipper’s explanations about Lisbon’s main icons.
After crossing the 25 de Abril Bridge, we continued to the Belém Tower, Jerónimos Monastery, Monument to the Discoveries, MAAT…. “What a spectacle!” was the most heard expression on board.
The group disembarked at Santo Amaro Marina, which was the chosen location for this lively group’s lunch.
Boat transfer to the restaurant
This group of 45 professionals from various countries had lunch reserved at the SUD Lisboa restaurant. Since they wanted to take advantage of the morning to socialize and discover Lisbon from a unique perspective, they chose the boat transfer service.

During the route that started at Doca do Espanhol, they were able to enjoy a magnificent cocktail, relax, and learn more about Lisbon with the help of tour guides specifically assigned for this event.

This historic vessel docked at the Belém River Station. After disembarking, the group had the opportunity to walk for eight minutes along the Belém waterfront to the chosen lunch location.
From Norway to Cascais
This was a group of 17 people, employees of a Norwegian company in the real estate sector, who were staying at a hotel in central Lisbon. They had scheduled dinner at a restaurant in Cascais in their activity program.
They chose to board in Lisbon, in the Alcântara area, in the middle of the afternoon and start their nautical adventure through the mouth of the Tagus and into Atlantic waters, aboard a spacious motor yacht. There was time to enjoy the incredible landscapes of Lisbon and the Portuguese coast, for swimming, sunbathing, music, and lots of fun on board.

In the late afternoon, when they arrived in Cascais, they expressed contagious joy for having lived this unforgettable experience.

Transfer with autumn colors
It was on an October morning that this group of 45 people from the team of a pharmaceutical multinational (Bristol-Myers Squibb) boarded a modern motor catamaran.
Their stay plan in Portugal included, in addition to work sessions and socializing in Lisbon, accommodation and a set of activities in the Guincho area. So they chose to travel between Lisbon and Cascais by boat, taking advantage of the opportunity to enjoy the views of Lisbon and the Estoril Coast. All their luggage was conveniently transported by bus to the new hotel that welcomed them.

This route, with a total duration of two hours, started in Lisbon at Santo Amaro Dock. After the impressive passage under the 25 de Abril Bridge, we passed in front of MAAT, the Monument to the Discoveries, Jerónimos Monastery, Belém Tower, and so many other points of interest at the exit of the Portuguese capital. Already in Atlantic waters, it was possible to admire the São Bruno Fort, the Bugio Lighthouse, the Julião da Barra Fort, the paradisiacal beaches of the Estoril Coast, and, almost at the end, enjoy the charming Cascais Bay.

A full day
This boat transfer experience is very common. It’s an option chosen by families who want to enjoy the afternoon in Cascais and/or Sintra. And to make the most of this opportunity, they choose to make the journey by boat during the morning, in a relaxed way, by sailboat or catamaran.

- B: Cascais Marina
Often a driver is waiting for them at Cascais Marina, who accompanies them during the rest of the afternoon and helps them discover various secrets of these regions. So some choose to drive to Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point of Continental Europe), some take the opportunity to discover Portuguese cuisine at the excellent restaurants in the Guincho and Cascais area, some visit the Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, Quinta da Regaleira, or any other enchanted place in magical Sintra. In short, there are options for all tastes. At the end of the day, the return to Lisbon is done comfortably by car.

From Cascais to Alcântara Dock
On September 19, 2025, the sunset over the Tagus Estuary witnessed a truly unique transfer. Three yachts – the Fairline 74, the Alalunga Yacht, and the Falcon 82 – departed side by side from Cascais Marina, taking 55 guests staying at the Onyria Quinta da Marinha Hotel on a crossing to Alcântara Dock in Lisbon.

From the start, the crew treated all guests very attentively, ensuring comfort and the smoothest possible logistics, since the group of 55 people had to be distributed across the three boats.
As the yachts glided through the calm waters, guests could appreciate the Portuguese coast as far as the eye could see. Laughter and conversations filled the spaces, and the team-building atmosphere provided moments of camaraderie and fun among everyone.
The on-board catering featured Portuguese wines, a selection of light snacks, cured meats, and seasonal fruit, allowing each flavor to become part of the experience. The feeling of tranquility and well-being was the cherry on top.
The Apheon team finished the trip with stunning memories of a journey that transformed a simple transfer into an unforgettable experience. You can read the client’s comment here. What pride to realize we contributed to this extraordinary experience!
