Opened in 2000, the Boca do Vento Panoramic Elevator connects Jardim do Rio<\/a> to the historic district of Almada, overcoming a 50-meter difference in elevation caused by the cliff there. With a glass cabin and a peaceful viewpoint, it offers privileged views over the Tagus River and Lisbon. Integrated into the redevelopment of the riverfront, it combines inspiration from industrial elevators with the heritage of Almada Velha, an area of historical and strategic importance, now revitalized with cultural spaces and green areas.<\/p>\n\n

Access to the panoramic elevator is easy, making it an accessible option for people of all ages. Thus, this elevator is a less crowded alternative to Cristo Rei for high altitude selfies. <\/p>\n\n

Although not very popular, this viewpoint offers a fabulous view over Lisbon and also has a terrace in the elevator arrival building.<\/p>\n\n
